Press Release - Liverpool, UK
LCC Technologies, a platform partner for data-driven drug discovery, has bolstered its senior leadership team with three new appointments, including new Chief Scientific Office (CSO) Inder Bhamra and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Sree Vadlamudi.
Bhamra and Vadlamudi bring extensive experience in platform collaborations and will play an integral role in building successful biopharma partnerships that accelerate the discovery of new drugs.
Bhamra joins from Refoxy Pharma where, as CSO, he built an early-stage discovery team to enable the progression of phenotypic screening hits into promising drug candidates. Prior to that role, he spent more than a decade at Redx Pharma leading multiple small molecule and development programmes to clinical candidate stage and beyond. He has also gained extensive partnering experience through successful deal activities with large and mid-tier pharma.
Vadlamudi, meanwhile, arrives with more than 20 years’ experience spanning research management, technology commercialisation, business development and alliance management roles in the bio-pharma sector. He is trained as a scientist with a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry and has delivered numerous invited talks at global conferences. Vadlamudi holds an MBA with merit from Lancaster University and has secured numerous buy-side and sell-side deals in the bio-pharma sector.
These senior appointments follow LCC’s acquisition by XtalPi in 2025, marking an important phase of growth for the company. The new arrivals will play a central role in building on this momentum – supporting the delivery of platform projects for biopharma partners through PACE™ (LCC’s Parallel Automated Chiral Engine) as well as advancing molecular glue and peptide collaborations with XtalPi.
Paul Colbon, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of LCC, said: “The addition of Inder and Sree to our executive team marks a pivotal moment as we fully integrate LCC’s chemical technologies into the XtalPi group and develop technology platforms founded in AI and automation that allow data-driven drug discovery. LCC’s fragment-to-lead platform (PACETM) is now boosted by XtalPi’s computational tools (e.g. XFEP), assay capabilities, structural biology and hundreds of automation stations for closed-loop DMTA cycles that can generate large volumes of high-quality data at rapid speed.”
Bhamra said: “I’m excited to join such a talented and motivated team at LCC. We share the goal of advancing the application of high quality, data-guided and automation-driven science in early-stage drug discovery. Our platform enables rapid exploration of chemical space and faster, more informed decision-making.”
Vadlamudi added: “Joining LCC at this stage of its journey is an extraordinary opportunity. The combination of LCC’s proven chemical platforms with XtalPi’s AI‑driven technologies creates a powerful engine for discovery, and I’m excited to help expand the partnerships that will unlock its full potential.”
In addition to Bhamra and Vadlamudi, LCC has announced the appointment of Keith Price as Director of Brand and Culture. He joins with more than 20 years’ experience spanning journalism, brand communication and culture development in the B2B tech and digital industries. For the last six years, he has been consulting for a range of tech-enabled start-ups and scale-ups.
In his new role, Price will work with the C-suite to align internal operations with brand experiences, ensuring the LCC way is delivered consistently across all stages of the collaborator journey.
Colbon added: “Culture has long been a priority at LCC, and team spirit is the beating heart of the organisation. Culture comes from every member of the team, and we now have more than 1,000 new colleagues to contribute to the many shared values across the XtalPi group. Having someone as experienced as Keith and professionally trained in branding and culture allows us to maximise the benefits of sharing culture and values across the global group.”
